Motion sickness while walking in the Abbey
Any recommended settings or tips to reduce motion sickness while walking/moving at the Abbey?

Any way to turn off the head bob while moving?

I got motion sickness almost immediately and can't figure out how to get rid of the camera wobble while walking.

Looking forward to a solution so I can enjoy the game!

Thanks! Trying turning off motion blur, turning off depth of field, and cranking down look sensitivity and it seems to helped in a quick one-minute test.

i'm looking forward to "testing" the game longer tomorrow ;-)

Thank you!

Motion blur and.....I forgot the word now...but the view....slider...thingie are usually the cause of motion sickness.

Trust me, I'm a huge sufferer of motion sickness in games, like I couldn't even play Borderlands 1 cause it didn't have the slider at release.

if there is a field of view option, turn that to the max, a narrow field of view (everything under 90) is usualy the culprint

Can you change you depth of field that always makes me sick.

Thanks ingosupercute

The following combo worked:
  • turn off motion blur
  • turn off depth of field
  • lower look sensitivity to 7 or 8

Greatly enjoying the game!

Much appreciated!

I suffer from motion sickness too, so I was a bit worried about the game. I am glad the solution helped you.
I am leaning now on buying it. But can you tell me if you need to walk a lot? Or is it only a small percentage?

I suffer also from it but the abby hasn't effected me, but i get no stutter, only the odd hitch.

You walk around a lot if you wanna get the free stuff, like reagents and the puzzles. If you ignore them I guess you don't have to, you will just need to do some things there. (Not sure if there's some required stuff later, I've ignored the main story so far =)

Thank you I would buy it only for the battles. I am not into Marvel. So I probably wont care too much for the story

Put the depth of field to medium, disable the launcher.

Btw using a controller helped me a little bit

Wow, it's not just me apparently. I can't think of the last game that gave me motion sickness, maybe Doom 3.
