They have a real money MTX shop for costumes in the game.
If I understood them correctly there will be premiums skins that are only available from the store.
How the mighty have fallen. Sad.
In-Game store = No official modding
It is a licensed product so modding was always going to be a low probability of happening. It being a Disney license lowered that probability even more. I'm fine with it if it means more content updates down the road.
Once games start adding boosters or exclusive items (as in items that actually do anything in-game) I very much have a problem with it =)
You unlock costumes for The Hunter that has skills or passives or such.....as far as I know. But if you can't buy them and they unlock by playing....then it's all good
The abilities are unlocked with the cosmetic. Don't need to wear cosmetic to have ability and vice versa. The stuff in the store I saw was the legendary edition skins which have no abilities unlocked by owning them, it's purely cosmetic.
