There are two free treasure chests in the woods. You can find both on the very first Day. Just make sure your Horse is well fed on grass for the 45 seconds of Infinite Stamina and hoof it to both edges of the map. Eating grass each time its tired (forrested swamp grass doesn't count)
Then you just stand around all Day dropping coins on each side of your Camp during the night. You won't have enough Gold to pay off the Blood moon wave so it's all about stalling them until morning. The best way to do this is to build two level 2 walls and then drop the majority of your Gold outside of the correct one.
The objective is to pay for 75% of the Blood Moon enemies to leave you alone so it takes a really long time for the remaining 25% to finish your two walls off. Then it's simply a matter of running in the opposite direction until morning (make sure horse is well fed and that you have 1-2 Gold to pay off anything that comes out of a Portal.)
Some achievements do make sense, like getting x archers by day y. Achieving that means you're doing fine. It's what you should strive for anyways. Hunting such achievements will improve your performance. Herding is another example.
Not lighting your camp fire for three days on the other hand...
AGAIN i haven't tried this but it seems the best way. PS:
You clearly need to get both chests early. And when chopping trees you for some reason get extra money if you stay by the builders when they chop it.
Are you kidding me? I thought you couldn't even kill a rabbit to get the Achievement! You mean you just have to not kill any Greeds? XD It's just really funny to me that I made one of these Achivements harder for myself than it actually is.
When I did it I hired 2 builders and on the first 2 nights the few Greeds can't even break through the walls. For the Blood Moon I had enough money to just pay off the whole thing. . .if I had known it would've been much easier to pay off the Greeds before they got to the walls so my archers didn't kill them. Oh well, less chance of botching it with no Archers I guess. . . ;)
not sure if this really helps though
Yeah, the early waves used to be stronger. Now it's a rather easy achievement.
