By the Seventh Day I Cleared an Acre Achievement

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? i have every achievment besides this one.
Here is what i tried so far before day 7
1. I obvously build a farm and the farmer farmed the crop before day 7 -> nothing
2. I chopped down a lot of trees, even lost two camps before day 7 -> nothing
3. I build a farm with an update and had 6 farmes working the farm and every single one farmed the crop before day 7 -> nothing

now i am out of ideas how to get the achievment ... can someone help?

thx to @NightShader i found the solution:
you have to chop down 8 trees on each side before day 7. Not shure if it has to be exactly 8 trees but it worked for me

Unless it's exactly 8, there's more to it. Have cleared in excess of that and still not hit it. I wish the achievements were explained.

Nope, tried exactly 8 before day 7, no go. Something else here, maybe farms plus that or some kind of configuration of the land. Anyone else know?

I remember when I got this achievement, I chopped down as many trees as possible left and right. I gave coins to monsters so that the builders could work 24/7.

I only cleared a few on the fight but a whole bunch on the left - it's probably a certain distance that has to be cleared of forest rather than a particular number of trees.

Cleared a ton on the left and none and the right and no achievement so now I'm hinking a little on one side and a ton on the other

Not sure what gave you the idea this has anything to with farms but it doesn't and you should avoid building any farms because they won't have time to pay for htemselves. It's not a certain number of trees, it's a distance of land cleared of background brush so clearing in areas where the trees are sparse will be more efficient but it's mostly just about keeping a couple Builders working constantly.

Just get a bunch of Archers at the beginning and herd deer for cash, recruiting along the way, as usual. On day 2 or 3 start marking trees and get a couple Builders. Explore down the side they are working on, doing the same as before and bribing as necessary and make sure to come back and mark more trees around the time they finish. Continue until achievement is reached. Make sure to stop by the base on day 3 or 4 to get level 2 walls built (hire a new Builder there so as not to distract the deforesters), and make more bows of course.
