Other games like this?
I like Kingdom but it gets intense fast, are there other games like this (protect ur base, assign tasks/warriors but at the same time you YOURSELF can actually move and ur not like an omnipresent player.) and i dont mean tower-defense like games. Games just like kingdom, as far as gameplay.

How about Majesty?

You use gold to influence what your villagers and heroes do, but you have no direct control over them.

Stronghold might offer some similar aspects, also. You can control some of the troops but the villagers do their own thing.

I can kinda recommend Caveman Craig - it has some similar elements to Kingdom, except it's much more focused on combat and you have to do much more micro management, it can easily get annoying in later levels (it has a campaign as well as individual challenges). Look up some let's play, but I though it was fine, if unpolished. It has decent variety of items that are at your disposal, making the gameplay somewhat progressive as you go through the campaign.

Try the game Life is Hard. Very similar in style to Kingdom, but a little more complexity to it. Protect and grow your village, assign tasks to different workers, etc. Overall it is much more focused on building your village and managing its inner workings than surviving relentless waves of monsters. However, you are an "omnipresent player" in this game. Regardless, its still very fun.

I just finished my game "Minako". It's a lot like kingdom.. it was part of my inspiration. :)

You can assign your units freely, increase their stats, teach them new skills, etc. I'm still trying to get it released on steam (having issues with their steampipe documentation) but it's currently on android. Here is a trailer, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2p_vyFitQE.
