How do you attack the portals ?

Once you have fully upgraded your Keep and have access to knights they will attack if you pay gold to your banner located at your farthest wall.

Go to the banner at the left or right end of your kingdom (After the furthest building) and pay the banner 6 coins to send your knights on the attack.

When I pay to attack the knights/archers die everytime. Only a few times are they able to kill the portal, but I do not understand why that time they were able to kill the portal and other times they were not.

Has anyone noticed a trend on how to consistenly kill portals?

How many troops do you need to be successful? I've tried with 2 knights and a few archers, the knights don't seem to do anything?

Keep sending parties ( 2 Knights + archers) until the portal falls.

Some support by your King/Queen by dropping insane amounts of coins in front of the portal before they start attacking it can help to reduce attackers on your troops. Just be sure to retreat before the greeders leave you without coins and crown.

Edit: Knights protect your archers. And I think that can kill some stuff too.

i just play this game on free weekend but i dont even know why is there no pay indicator on the banner

I just discovered that there is a maximum number of people and when u are full there is no way to attack if you don't have a knight, and I lost the perfect moment waiting some of my men die and I lost lol ...anyway it is frustrating that upon completion of a side all the troops on that side become useless and unrecallable :(

Usually I will attack in the middle of the day, so if they going to attack, it will be night and all our archer are ready to fight.
