Can't upgrade town past wooden village?

My town doesn't give the prompt to be able to put coins into it and im tuck with bad wall, does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: I cant build any stone walls or towers but I have the catapult.

Yes, did you search for the wooden totem in the woods, you need to pay it 6 coins and then you can upgrade past wood :D Hope this helped

Dont worry every map has one of the totems, and they are never past the portals. If you dont find it on the right side, check the left side 100% you will find it

guys help me, i was looking for the pole but the left and the right both have a spot that i cant go past and i cant do enything without store so ya:( please help

Did you walk past the portal or stayed infront of the portal, btw the totem looks like a bronze Pole, if you cant find it search behind the portals 90% of the time when you make a world you will get a totem spawned left or right before the portal, mhhh weird

Wait is it like a bride, on the left or right side, cause that is the end of the map, then you have to check the other side left or right (if you are on the left go right etc)
