How To get Knights And Royal Guards?!

I have a small castle, level 5 as all the walkthrough's say, and yet I still can't find them! do I need to have more land? Because when I first got the farm hut, it didn't have any walls around it.

Find the wooden-church looking building in the forest, canbe on either side. Upgrade it and you can then upgrade to castle. However you only get 1 coin per tax day so make sure your farms are safe

chi is right. the church monument costs like 6 or 8 coins to upgrade. you then can make a stone castle, in which you'll have the option to give 6 coins either side (left or righ) to make knights. the royal guard however is not optional. The royal guard are 3 archers converted !! so make sure you have a decent number of archers, or else you'll be missing up to 12 archers if you make all kights at once. (2 each side)

The game logs call the building — that lets you construct using stone — the "Mason Shrine".

Stand near your fire/castle and you will be askd to pay 6 (I think) coins, this will put a sheild on your castle, when someone picks it up they become a knight

When the flag is ripped it means they died and you re-pay for another shield
