In level 1-2 you will get 5 coints, on level 3-4 - 3 coins and on level 5 - 1 coin.
To get coins - cut some trees around your camp and wait untill grass will grow and rabbits will start to spawn.
P.S. But I think in your case it's better to restart the game)
Archers will hunt rabbits - meaning more hunters = more gold. So real bottleneck is amount of free people that you can get.
And rabbits spawn from tall grass, that appear on long normal grass patches, so you need to cut trees to create them.
1) Skip intro (it will save you ~3 minutes in first day)
2) Get all coints, upgrade campfire, recruit two vagrants and buy two bows for them.
3) You will have 3 coins left - run to the right, recruit 1 vagrant from first camp and two from second.
4) Return to base, get coins from archers, buy 2 more bows.
5) If you have spare money - return into first vagrant camp to the right, hire last one here.
So at first night you now have 4 archers and 1-2 free peasants. More than enough for defence.
Get coins from chest, buy more bows, run to the right. Hire all free vagrants and go further.
You will have enough time to run past first portal to check whats behind it and return before it opens.
Whole goal of this searching is to find masonry shrine, free chests and camps.
Return to your base (don't upgrade it yet). Get coins from archers, buy one hammer and more bows. Survive second night with at least 8 archers and 1 builder.
Now, you need to run left (do it not at morning, but when all Greed from left side will be dead, it will give you ~1-2 more minutes). Cut first 3-5 trees to the left, creating hunting ground. Run further to the left, searching for shrines, camps, chests.
Return, hire vagrants from all camps.
Repeat it on day 4.
Day 5 is important. You should upgrade your camp at morning of day 5, and then upgrade it two times during day to get free wals before night of day 5 start.
With hiring bare minimum of 4 vagrants per day you will have 20 archers and wooden walls - enough to easily survive first Blood Moon.
Now you have strong base and can continue the same way - recruit, investigate, upgrade)
now i have one more tip. about destroying the 4 portals. after i destroy one monsters will appear to attack me right? when that happen? if i destroy 2 portals in one day what will happen?
Also don't build archer towers at all - they are bad investment, since archers there won't hunt.
Yes, after you destroy all 4 portals - there will ba one Last Wave from both sides. If yo usurvive it - you will win.
Destroying 2 portals in one day possible, but since after portal destruction it will spawn attack from that side - you will be attacked during day from both sides and it may be quite hard.
after destroying a portal the attack from monsters will happen in the next day or imediatelly after destroying it?
After destroying a portal, the attack from monsters will happen immediately, in fact it's likely they'll kill the knights and archers you sent out.
i notice something. i didnt need to actually destroy the camps where the begar lives to advance. i destroyed then for nothing. i can just advance a little more and the lumberjacks can cut further trees. its probably a piece of cake to go to day 100 if you dont destroy any camps. i have only 2 active. i noticed too that, if i put save and quit. i can resume the game right before i finish it.
thanks in particular to howru that helped me a lot with tips and the other guys of course.
