Game freezes after winning

Well to be fair it's not really frozen, I get the credits but I cannot do anything at all and once the credits are over my character is just standing there I cannot control anything and my workers/archers/farmers just continue doing their thing around me. I cannot get the menu to start a new game or exit or anything

Same for me. I had to alt+f4 the game. When I loaded it back up, it was at my last save/exit (before i won). Very odd behavior...

Same here... Won the game, credits rolled through, it goes back to the Queen sitting in front the castle, but keys won't respond, and cannot exit without force closing...

Maybe it is to show you what it meant to win. After the "monsters" have been defeated, then what? Do you just get more money, so you can chop more trees down? Or do you become a democratic where a leader is chosen instead of its current dictatorship. What have you accomplisched by destroying those portals and hunting all the wild deer into extinction?

why would they design the game this way? :( I googled this to see if there was any way to get to the menu and found this thread...resurrecting it in hopes they might revisit and fix this silly feature

EDIT: an update on this: after finishing a second time for the day 100 achievement, I discovered that the game will go to the pause menu screen after the credits. I am guessing this gets messed up when you tab out of the unskippable credits, which is what I did the first time, and I imagine others in this thread did the same. Just don't tab out, go to the bathroom or something to waste time and let the credits play out to get back to the menu (or... you know, actually look at the credits which seemed important to the devs since they are unskippable)
