Icons Key

Does anyone know if there is a key or description of the different icons in the game as I have no idea what some of them
For example I know there are different enemy types by the icons but wht type of enemies are they? I under stand the normal one, (chevron) sniper (crosshair), then there is chevron with a gun above, a star above another with a white blob above which might be a mask? I have no idea what they mean.
Also wandering around I sometimes see an icon with a crosshair on small white block, kinda like an aiming icon but again I have no idea what any of this means.
Can anyone help me figure this out as I'm at a loss.

Press M to bring up the map. In the menu along the bottom, there's a Show Legend item—if I recall correctly, it's Left Ctrl key. This lists loads of icons with description, and allows you to click to turn them off individually—useful when looting a cluttered place.

Thanks, but that's not quite what was looking for. I know about the map legend, it's the icons you see when wandering around the game. In the end I just kinda gave up trying to figure out what some of them might mean and just played the game.

For the icon with the crosshair and block underneath, I think it means potential sniper spot (for example, an empty sniper's nest)
