Only 4K resolution is full screen
After this last update anytime I change resolution to anything below 4K the game refuses to play in full screen. Every resolution below 4k plays in a smaller and smaller box. Im trying to lower my resolution to increase my frame rates but dont want to play windowed. Im running a nvidia GTX1070 on an Alienware laptop with the latest drivers. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hmmm, I have driver version 388.00, and I can play on 2560x1440 120hz/fps fullscreen (PLUS fov all the way to the right) with no issue at all.

Are you playing using a cable from your laptop to a different monitor? If so, try another cable.
Or (and I bet this is it) are you playing with 2 monitors setup? If so, go back to 1 monitor, as Nvidia are messing up multi-monitor support (AND SLI for that matter) as the 1000 series cards came out until now, still going on. Newer drivers actually make the issue worse. :(

I guess I will just uninstall this game then because 3 years later it's still doing it so I think it's safe to assume it will never be fixed.

I've got the exact same issue on my Lenovo X1 Extreme laptop with Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050Ti and latest drivers. All other games I've tried work fine.

To fix this you need to do the following:
Rightclick the Game in your library > Manage > Browse local files.
Then go into the "win_x64" folder, rightclick SGW3.exe > Properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab and you should see a button "Change high DPI settings"
In the new window mark the checkbox "Override high DPI scaling behaviour. Scaling performed by:" and choose "Application" in the dropdown.
Click OK, Apply and OK and try starting the game again.

This almost didn't work for me. Mine was already set to "Application". The missing step was clicking the "Change settings for all users" button in the first properties window. Then I was able to select "Application" and everything works.

Thanks!

This fix mine,
To enable fullscreen, follow the steps mentioned below.

Head to the game’s path and open the GameSDK folder
Open game.cfg with any text editor, like Notepad
Add the following lines

r_fullscreen = 0
r_FullscreenWindow = 1

Save the file and then launch game

Then press alt + enter
