Reset to Level 1

I played some single player SGW3 this afternoon, because I could not find any multi player action. Tried Multiplayer afterwards and was reset to level 1.

DON'T PLAY SINGLEPLAYER UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK RESET TO LEVEL 1...

Did you had any kind of crash or forced closed the game? We are aware of the issue with lost progress and are worknig on the resolution ASAP.
Please send your report to [e-mail] including as many details and actions that surrounded your lost progression discovery.
Like game crash, force close, selecting specific mode of gamplay etc.

No crashes or forced closures. Simply switched to SP for a while and went back to MP as level 1 from level 13.

Well crap!! I decided to play a little SP for a couple of days. Then went to play MP this evening and found out that I was reset to level 1. NOT COOL!!

Now I have to deal with a lousy rifle with no zoom all over again!!

CIG, before you even asked, NO, there were no errors and no crashes!! One day I decided to give MP a break because of all the cheating and play SP. I played SP for a couple of days. Today, I was playing SP for an hour and then, without closing the program, went to the main menu and then selected MP. I then went to change my soldier to another character and noticed that all my weapon unlocks were gone and my rank had been reset to 1.

I closed the program and then relaunched it and went straight into MP mode and was still at level 1.

Another post suggests saving this folder. Obviously X and numbers will be different.

Has anyone had any success?

So it seems like I need to make a backup copy of this folder every time I switch between SP and WP??

I'm going to make a backup after playing SP, play MP for a while and then do a compare of the data and see what has changed.

You would have thought that the developers at CIG would have had a profile for storing SP and another for storing MP info. Such a NOOBIE mistake.

Well, I have been set to level 1 as well now.
No, I did NOT play single player, my PC did NOT hang or crash or have an error of any kind whatsoever.
I don't expect that it will be fixed to the point that my score and stats can reset back to their original state (can't expect that, now can we)

Having said all that, I was pretty fed up with the game anyway. Too many cheaters in multiplayer and despite having emailed CI, I don't expect they'll fix that either.

Thanks CI games, you have simply confirmed what I already knew and should have stuck to anyway... Don't buy ANY game that CI is involved with.
