Start new game every time? Where did my saves go?
OK so I played the single player non-campaign mode last night all the way into the lab under the dome. Played with the drone, sniped all the bad guys including that two-for-one shot (sweet!) got into the lab shooting the guys just inside and a little ways in further, got that save game circle thing then messed up and died.

Today I started the game up and I only get the "Start new game" pic or "Start new campain" pic. If I start either one and "space" thru to where the game starts, I'm back at the helo following my brother again! If I load "last checkpoint" it just takes me back to the beginning again.

I apologise if the answer is already here but there's 273 or more posts and I'm a lazy old fart. Thanks in advance!

You have to complete the prologue before the game will save. It's the same with The Sabotage DLC. The game won't save until you reach the safe house.

yes, did that. unless the prolog is past the labratory.

The prologue finishes after you reach the open world, drive a bit, and reach your safe house. And use the laptop.

Wow, that far in? Sheesh. OK, thank you. I have a ways to go then.

I like the game, but it's so very different from SGW1 and SGW2. I had a blast with SGW2, by far the best stealthy-sniper game I've played.

I have a question also about saves. I finished the game several months ago. Than with the new multiplayer system I wrnt back to test it. I wanted to go back to my games to finish secondary missions but need to restart a game. So after completion the game ends completely ? If I want to finish achievements I need to do them all before the last quest ?
