@Jaxx, Denuvo is a form of anti-piracy software that is used to prevent people from pirating the game. It being removed is a good thing.

correct there are games that released a few years ago that are still un cracked. correct me if im wrong but does denuvo have like a tier protection where if you pay more you get better anti piracy?

Denuvo is generally quite effective. The most recent version has been cracked for one game, but it's already been upgraded, I believe. I think in SGW3's case the devs have removed it because the game now has MP. There's an incentive for people to buy the game to try out the MP.

sgw3 was cracked on day one which was a gamble which didnt pay off but at least they have removed it. Are they even going to fix the tod and dynamic weather?

If the most recent patch hasn't done anything, the answer is almost certainly no. I'm still downloading the patch so I haven't had a chance to take a look at what they've changed. I'm assuming NPC draw distance is untouched, so I'll be updating the Improvement Project mod for this version.

same i wont be able to play it for another 12 hours. It a shame because the steam store page advertises the dynamic weather system but it is not present in the game

Technically the weather is in the game. But the clock moves so slowly, and resets due to death and missions and fast travel and such, you basically never encounter it. But if you run around for hours rain will sometimes trigger around 3 and 11 am.

But yea, I'll have to see what the patch has done.

I tried the game a little earlier today after patch (single player) and it runs more "smoothly" now.
fps in safehouse was bad, but outside it feels better. It may be the patch or Denuvo.

What I meant is that not all games with denuvo causing problems in games.

Some are implemented correctly and some are not.

In my opinion denuvo servs only for first sales but I do agree that most recentely they suck at that since it gets bypassed or cracked very fast.

As for tier protection I donno about that, I'm not their customer anyway.

But if someone expects for some bugs to be fixed or performance improved in game because of removal of denuvo alone then don't get your hopes too high.
