How do i get past the electric gate in the cave?

So i found a cave with an eletric gate, and i cant get in, Was wondering how do i get past it?

You need to turn off the electricity with the help of a drone

I threw a grenade over the fence and killed the generator which opened the electric fence/gate.

I know this post is super old and didn't need to be revived by others but its already partially revived anyways, but for people who may still need help, fly drone to generator (it should be highlighted). HOWEVER, having played the game recently, I noticed there was no "Press E to Interact" when I flew the drone over to it (literally touching it). So if you fly drone over to it and you don't get a prompt to interact, don't worry, it can be interacted, just face it or something and press/hold E, the progress circle should show up. Not sure if you need the hacking module though. I did this after beating the main story so I already had the hacking module for the drone.

Thanks for posting - yes it helped me as it wasn't obvious. The generator is way back up in between the paintings. Very annoying.
