Still cant crouch..

tab or hold is the difference. i play this way. yes, the key standard is c

if i hold he will go prone and if i tab he crouches for half a secondand gets up right away..

That really sound strange. I have remapped the key to left shift and it works fine. Could it be, that you have some keybouncing on the key that is mapped to?

i hoped changing the key would help, but it doesnt matter what key it is, it's like the chrouch mechanic is broken for me or something like that

Have you checked what your Ease of Access settings are for your keyboard, like a quick key press repeat or something? I gather you have at least looked if you're not having trouble in other games, but it never hurts to check. Your problem almost sounds like a keyboard setting issue, not a specific game problem.

I was just fiddling around with the "C" button. I noticed that if you tap "C" for second, you either stand up or crouch. If you hold "C" for a long second while you are crouched, your character will go prone. Tapping "C" again will bring your character back into a crouch and tapping it again will make you stand upright. So tapping "C" switches between crouch and stand. Holding "C" from a crouch will make you go prone.

yes i know that, no matter how i press it, it wont work, just half a second crouch and thats it

Have you tried plugging in a Steam or XBox controller or maybe a separate keypad into a different USB port? Also,have you verified your game files in Steam? I don't know what else to suggest.

Yes i have tried a controller a second keypad and verifing the files but sadly that didnt help :(

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We are trying to reproduce the issue with no luck so far. We didn't receive any similar reports, therefore, it's a bit tricky to find a correct solution. Did you install any mods or made any changes to game files?

no mods, i have changed keys and so on to check if that helps but still nothing so i set them as default, as far as i know only 1 more person has had this problem. i bought the game and could not crouch from the first time i played it, hope i can get it fixed soon.

I'm having the same issue. It was fine in the main campaign when I played it as soon as it released . Today I updated it and tried playing the new dlc and as soon as I try moving in crouch mode it goes to standing mode. FYI I'm playing using the Xbox One controller and even tried with keyboard

Did you try to detete your save file after this glitch surfaced? It might be due to corrupted save file and New Game with a fresh save will override the corrupted one.

Closing and restarting the game 3 times solved the issue . It again happens randomly after dying in-game sometimes . Will try to start a new game and then check if the bug is still there
