Well all the enemies respawn just fine. In fact, I love that fact about the game. SGW3 reminds me so much of Far Cry 2, and that's a good thing, because the enemies respawning was one of my favorite things about that game, but SGW3's enemies are even more fun. :D
But back to the point - the side missions. Maybe I'll have to show a screen shot later when I have more time, but I still see the yellow exclamation points for side missions on my world map when I'm in a different map. I mean for example, if I'm in Village, I can open the world map and see the side mission indicators in Mining Town, but if I fast travel to a location nearby one of them, they're gone when I get there. I'm pretty sure I already did the missions where I'm seeing these markers though, which is why they're disappearing, but the result is that I don't know if any of them are valid unless I go to each of them and try again, but so far all of them have had the same result. Again, the game says I've done 12/16, so that leaves 4.
I really don't remember what the names of the side missions I did complete are. I know I finished all the Opium Wars missions and all those that were announced over the comms to me during the game. As I said, I'll have to post some screenshots later to show you what I mean, and I can't get back to the game until after work tonight.
I should probably add that I've probably explored that area the least of all, so I'm just wondering, do I need to trigger them by getting close to mission areas or something? I'm not seeing any yellow side mission indicators on my map.
An example of what I mentioned earlier - I can see a side mission here in Dam, on the world map:

But when I actually travel there and open the map from that location, the mission indicator is gone, and nobody is there to give a mission:

I'm pretty sure I've already done that mission, and there's another location in Dam where I get this same thing, but I can't find any new side missions...
Yep, nobody in there... I said earlier that I thought I had already done that mission, but now I'm not so sure. Since I have the Local Hero achievements for both Village and Mining Town and have four missions still not done, that would mean there are at least five, maybe six side missions in Dam? There's another place in Dam where this same thing happens, in the north-east of the map.
I suppose it's possible that the stats could just be wrong too. I didn't count the missions as I did them.
Well I already did all of the Opium Wars and Bridge missions. There are no side missions remaining on the laptop, and some of the side missions are found at those yellow question marks, not the laptop. Those are the ones I'm missing, unless by completing the story I've lost the ability to do them.
With the story finished, the only things still available via the laptop are the assassination targets.
Okay I'll check it out later, but I did do all the side missions in Mining Town and Village, and I remember distinctly starting some of those by talking to a guy at a yellow marker, not through the laptop. All the Opium Wars and Bridge missions did go through the laptop... but as I said I'll check it out when I can.
Looks like I somehow missed Loose Ends II and III. So that accounts for two of them, and I'm assuming that will make the other two available. There aren't any others that I've seen in the laptop.
I totally missed that you cant scroll through the acts like that. I suppose I was just used to it always being open to where I need it, but with the story completed it just opens to Avt IV, which of course was all completed.
Thank you very much for the help! I apologize for ever doubting you!
