Otherwise can you tell us if the problem occurs on playing on gamepad or mouse + keyboard?
And if you could specify some details about it, it would be nice too.
sometimes it also happens when i try to catch an ennemie to question him (but rarely, 3 or 4 times)...
there's maybe a problem with the end of the climbing animation or the catching animation or the way the game engine validating it process...
I couldn't fast travel out of it, and I couldn't kill myself.
The only fix I found was pressing 1 and changing back to my sniper rifle, as I always have the pistol equipped when I am climbing about.
Only found out by accident, I was trying to blow myself up with a frag grenade in frustration! Hope it helps.
I have seen the same thing happen in GRW, and still does in rock formations
PS.
No other input devices are connected to my PC other than for my mouse and keyboard.
UPDATE:
Resolved it. Apparently DS4 was giving it issues for some reason. I am able to move in game after disabling the application.
I appreciate your willingness to get involved in solving these issues. However, I have sent several specific examples via e-mail to CI Games, with map locations, and received only one odd reply. They wanted me to send screenshots of every location...really? They said that map coordinates were not helpful...indicating that they don't even know how to work with the bizarre mapping used in this game.
Please, how are we to communicate locations with problems?
But that's true. Coordinates do not pinpoint the exact location you're talking about.
Waypoints are fixed positions that can be used, as is the Player Position notation in yellow (in the upper left of the map).
I know what you mean, however the yellow coordinate numbers are fixed positions....we just can't use the white coordinate numbers, which are variable.
Another item that makes it difficult for someone to interpret our coordinate info is that each map uses a different system for the coordinates. I would think that coordinates would be laid out using x/y (left-right/up-down) format, starting in the lower left of the map.
***Mining Town uses y/x starting in the upper right.
***Village uses x/y starting in the lower right.
***Dam uses x/y starting in the upper left.
Even if we agree on a way to communicate the coordinates of problem locations, I don't envy the CI Games folks for having to navigate without a consistent system in place.
The coordinates in the map are really screw up, if you pinpoint a pair of X,Y and then click and grab and move the map to one side, check the coordinates again of the same point and they changed...why? who knows!
