Well I just started the game and was on my first mission and I was wondering not only about the time, as it was night, and I was also wondering if it was going to get light before I had a chance to take out some guards prior to it getting too light.
So yeah... I discovered something that seemed strange and decided to try to figure it out...
Ahh well, okay... chalk it up to me being new to this game. I kind of expect Cry Engine games to use Cry Engine features, and dynamic weather is most definitely one of those features innate to Cry Engine...
It's possible that time only passes when the player is moving. That's how Mirror's Edge: Catalyst does it, and in that game it was a trick designed to hide shadow jitter.
