I actually prefer playing with unsilenced rifles, it's a bit more challenging and really, silencers breaking in 20 shots make no damn sense anyway.
Most guns here are alternate universe fiction made up names and even if some do resemble real life guns we have....it could be wrongly portrayed.
Well....it kinda kills the immersion...
Maybe they have that licensing and copywrite issues.
The VSSK is also straight pull bolt action IRL, not semiauto. But doesn't really bother me, i wasn't expecting a super-realistic sniper sim anyway. More like a sniping-oriented FarCry.
Look up the M107A1, most companies tend to build the same model rifle in many calibers. Since each company generally has there own style and also has universal parts to save money you wind up with a lot of rifles with the same stock, hand guards, etc. on many different weapons.
