How long is the game?
Title says it. How long is it? I heard it's really short if you know how to do everything but let's say I don't want to speedrun it. How much content is there to expect?

I'd like to know too, I have about 9 hrs in and barely scratched the surface, guessing I should get 40--80 hrs out of single player maybe? I haven't done any exploring or wandering out of the quest. I spent an hour on the last quest I did for example. I'm sure a person could have run through it in 10 mins if they knew where to go and what to do. I methodically watched the gaurds and took them out one by one, it was awesome.

Yup sounds about right 35 hours if you do a bit of exploring and more if you take your time and try to do all optional objectives such as no alerts so you restart if the guards get alerted. I did this and had to restart many times on some quests. But it was fun when I finally gotall the guards without alerts. Its easy most of the time but even in the missions where its challenging if you actually use luring rounds or other items it makes it easy again. I forget to use my equipement alot. I wish the world was a bit more dynmic like maybe occasional enemy vahicles driving around in free mode and occasional random patrols of varying sizes. I really love the open world sniper ghost formula and I think the 4th game could be amazing if they applied the same formula to making the multiple different maps larger in size and more complex a bit but I love have different locations instead of just one. I really like the following trails thing like in witcher, if they could get a bit better writing and voice acting like witcher 3 these kinds of in game moments could be much more epic, CI could have done much more with this and had some tie into the main story that you found as you explore or somethin. Also more side missions and assassinations more variety in the types but replayable as well as main story replayable. I also think it would be cool to have some mission exclusive maps. I love the game despite its many bugs, flaws, and short comings. I think sniper ghost warrior was a great game to take into open world style and the multiple open map style is great and actually better for creating a coherent story. I reallt really wish they had replayable missions, assassinations, or atleast a newgame+ so you could replay from beginning with everything, there are a few missions that some of the later gear would have been very useful for. Please make Newgame+ CI Pretty please with a pure silver .338 inside of a solid gold casing and a cherry on top! Also I believe SGW 4 will be mind blowing! Do more with the stuff I said bigger maps, bigger enemy bases with more enemies and more lively maps, more body hiding places, more different takedowns, body shot damage not just head shot damage, actual enemy comms checks so stealthing whole missions is more challenging (the higher the difficulty the more frequent they do comm checks) maybe make it so only certain officers do comms checks.

If you finish the main story game then you cannot play any further? No redo of missions? Is that what happens?

I'm pretty sure the devs said you can still play after finishing the main story.

You can still roam around the 3 maps and kill enemies at outposts but missions, side missions, and assassinations are not replayable and there is no newgame+ to starrt from the begining with all of your stuff:( huge bummer as alot of the late game gear would be fun and useful in some of the earlier missions. The game also seems perfectly set up for replayable missions the menus seem to be set up so you can select a mission and replay. Really hope they consider doing this when they add the mac tac .338 rifle.

not to be an ass or anything but I got to the end-game credits on hard mode in 10 hours of starting the game for the first time

Sounds like you rushed the missions? I'm at 13 hours and just finished second mission of ACT 2. Haven't really explored much, besides doing all main and side missions. On top of that I think at least one complete replay would be nice to try different approaches. But definitely depends on play style.

The question is, DID YOU ENJOY THE GAME? Does it really matter if the game has 30 or 80 hours of gameplay if you don't have fun? If you just run from mission to mission and don't enjoy the map and discover the secrets of the game.
People should stop thinking about gameplay time and fps, and start to enjoy games more.

Okay let me put it this way, the story is kinda cheesy, cutscenes are okay, voiceacting is okay, graphics are great, BUT when you walking around in a forest with a Suppessed 7.62 and then you come across a large base that's when the fun begins. Okay basically what I'm trying to say is the game really sucks you in to the sniping and the combat

Wow, I'm 20 hours in and only on act 2, but I'm doing every side mission, assassinations and keeping fast travel to a minimum.

It took me 28 hours to finish the game. I'd say I'm a really average gamer in terms of the way I play games, I don't rush through everything but I'm also not a super slow gamer who spends way too much time poking around every corner of the map. I played on challenge difficulty so I had to retry a lot of missions several times.

Some of the POI's are interesting but I got bored with them after a while because most of them are pretty pointless after a while, also the Act 2 map seems bugged and won't make POI icons show up at all. I did make sure to find all the secret weapons you can find on the open world though.

They could have padded out the game a bit more if crafting and looting were actually useful, but they're not useful at all because you're always swimming in cash and can buy whatever you want.

Also I really hope they add in mission replayability. Even better would be a New Game Plus mode where the enemies are harder, but you can use all the weapon/gadget unlocks from your first playthrough.
