Return to Act 1

oes anyone know how to go back to Act 1? I haven't finished everything in Act 1. I selected a mission in Act 1 that took me to Act 2. There was no obvious indication that I woudl leave Act 1.

Actually, not quite. I just figured out how to go back the mining town. Don't need to replay the missions, just need to go back to finish some collectibles. To go back you open the map, select World Map, then select the region you want to go back to, click on your safe house or a fast travel point and you can go back.

You can go between zones as you see fit, you never get locked out unless you're on a mission or something.
