Where or how do i obtain it so i can hack the elevator at the mine shaft

drone down with the hacking spec at the end of the cave there is a cctv server like thing hold E and it should turn the elevator on.

You unlock it somewhere near the end of Act 2

I am on the mission after 'meet the family ion act 2', think it's called AWAS something, either way I have gone to the mining town and tried to go down the well and also the elevator one and I have no problem in navigation, finding the server box but when I press f (PC) it just does NOTHING! Even thought I have unlocked the hacking device on my drone and attached it do I still have to complete some mission or something? Before I had it nothing was showing, now it has a square with F in it b ut as I say wjhen I press F nothing happens, I'm up the wall with it, proper spoiled it!

I have just finished 'Remains of the day' but not started AWAS' FAMILY yet as I was going to complete some POI's but as I say it tells me to hack but when I press F it don't work yet it works to enter my wagen etc...So it ain't the key!

Have you remapped any keys? I know that causes issues for some.

F is use a gadget

Hehe. Well don't rebind F and V this two keys are hardcoded. :D

I tried re-binding then back to no effect, it does say PRESS F but nothing happens when I do...

reset to standard and dont rebind these keys and u are done

Thanks for the help guys, yeh I had to set the keys back to default, I think I might have changed C to crouch to X which has been my crouch key for 20 years since Soldier of fortune 1. WASD and E=Jump,Space=normal nade, ALT=secondary nade I.E.smoke or w/e flashbang and Shift to run!
