How to equip historical rifles ?

So one of the side quests in the game is to hunt down all these historical rifles.

I just found the Ross Rifle, would love to play with it but there seems to be no way to equip the rifle.

Are these historic rifles just there for show ? Just so you can find a collectible or is there an actual way to equip and use these really cool historical rifles ?

I think they are just collectable, They have a display area in your main hideout/base

Yeah I saw that, there are some tidbits you can read up on, which is nice.

Still I would've loved sniping people in this game with say the Ross Rifle, a musket or a Mosin Nagant... Instead of just the regular modern sniper rifles :)

Sniper Elite Series has that stuff in spades. I'm probably gonna buy the latestest one.

Historical rifles are displayed in your journal and give you more crucial info about sniping history, but they can't be used in a game as your weapon. Once you find them, they will appear on a board in your safe house.

Me too, I love Sniper Elite for the historical weapons and its WW2 setting.

I have finished Sniper Elite V2 and the main campaign of SE3. I still need to go through the DLC missions and then I will move on to Sniper Elite 4: Italia !! ^^

Would be cool if you added perhaps 1-2 classic sniper rifles as part of the season pass/DLC.

Or for sure in your next game.

Hello to all. I am at the point where you have to get to the top of a mountain to a building where they take helicopter to but you have to climb up to get to it. I am stuck there, have tried every way I can to do it. Can any one help me out with this?

agree.

But generally, sniper elite serie is basically the non modern version of sniper ghost warrior.
You can basically do the same there, just with older weapons
