Disable head splosions? Gore?

I'm tempted to get this, but holy hell the gore goes waaaaaay over even my tolerance and I don't have problems with gore. Normally.

depend where you cut them, a neck slice can spray a alot of blood

Simple solution: don't shoot people in the head. Neck shots and heart shots only.

The Headsplosions only happen if you hit them with a .50 cal, so far I've hit them with .338 and 7.62 and none have caused a headsplosion, just the generic entry-exit spatter

Well you can quite literally vapourise someone's head using .50 cals

Other than that though there really isn't any gore. And there's not a crazy amount of blood in the game outside of those .50 cal headshots. You can do takedown moves on guys you've snuck up on, and you'll stab them with a knife, but it isn't graphic whatsoever. Some blood sprays out but it's pretty tame from what I've seen in tons of other games.

Also OP, I saw you've played Borderlands 2. If you can handle that game's blood then you'd be fine with this one. Borderlands 2 is gorier/bloodier than this game.

Also OP, I saw you've played Borderlands 2. If you can handle that game's blood then you'd be fine with this one. Borderlands 2 is gorier/bloodier than this game.

It's the cranial melon pop that makes me go "nuh-uh". Borderlands is cartoony. This is showing skull, flesh, blood, brains, everything coming apart not in a quick POP, but SLOOOOOOOOOWly.

People complaining about gore?! Funny. When I read the boards for Sniper Elite 3 and 4, the biggest complaint was that there's STILL a lack of gore in the game. Now Sniper Ghost Warrior delivers on that and people still complain. Some people can never be pleased.
