Any games similar to this?
I wanted to get this based on seeing the Steam player count rising by the day but after looking at the reviews it seems that the game took a turn for the worse.

You're completely right about the reviews. The game gained massive popularity (over 200k concurrent players), but a flood of bot farms completely broke the Steam inventory integration, leading to aggressive anti-cheat fixes, market locks, and broken item drops. It's a bit of a mess right now.

If you are looking for that specific "play at the bottom of your screen while doing other tasks" vibe, here are the best stable alternatives on Steam:

  • Rusty's Retirement — The absolute gold standard of this subgenre. It's a super cozy, highly polished idle farming game that sits perfectly at the bottom of your screen. No server issues, completely offline-friendly, and very relaxing.
  • Taskbar Titans — Very similar to TBH. It's a tiny idle-RPG that plays directly on your taskbar where your automated party slays monsters and finds loot while you work.
  • Taskbar Looters — Another great, lightweight desktop idler where cute animal looters collect treasures on your screen while you focus on other things.
  • Chillquarium / IdleOn — If you don't mind a separate window that you can just resize or keep on a second monitor, these are top-tier idle games with deep mechanics and great communities.
