Need Help With Outpost Scanning Mission

So, I've ran around here after the latest Nightly update all over trying to locate the scan I need for this mission to complete. And I am just not having the best luck at it at all. I've got one more scan to do but from what I can tell, I've checked everything in the Outpost that can be scanned now :S

I had the same issue. 2 Stop Teleshop was closed when I started the mission. I left and quit for a bit. When I got back the shop was open and scannable. Completed the mission.

So you just have to scan pretty much every shop on the outpost. When i did the mission, I also had some trouble finding everything.. but in the end it was the shops beneath the outpost, like the penguine bartender. Maybe you missed that one.

Nope, gotten that one. Everything currently in the outpost is red, though a few shops are still closed. A few of them I was able to scan prior to opening, but thinking it could be one of the closed shops that is stopping me.

my last guess would be that you might forgot to scan some shops outside the actual outpost.. and maybe the kinda hidden door left when you go below the outpost

If some things are not open yet AKA frog furnishings or 2 stop teleshop for the scan mission, just beam back to your ship and then back to the outpost to update the area, then the places should now be able to be scanned.

Done multiple teleports back and forth to the outpost and back, and no dice really. Several shops are still closed, and no change in the outpost's roster past where I was.

The only quest I got left is the quest for Dreadwing, though as a sidequest I wouldn't think that'd control the types of shops in the Outpost, and the scanner quest I'm assuming is all that's in the way for more exploration questlines.

No, you don't have to do Dreadwing. I finished the quest just right after i got it.
Im gonna make a new character, so i can tell you where you have to scan.

So, there are 7 things you have to scan. I will go through from top to bottom.
1. Frögg Furnishing
2. Design shop (top left)
3. Thing where you get your techs from
4. Terramart
5. 2-Stop-Teleshop
6. Shop for Hoverbikes (the guy who repaired your ship after the Erchius Mining Facility)
7. Penguin Bartender beneath the Outpost

I think you require to do most or all quests avaliable. I had trouble finding the other necessary scanables until I did a few quests.

Getting the impression the quest doesn't count rescans right now. Hrm. Seems this character is possibly scuppered, as you can't reset main questlines.

They don't need to be open to scan them, the empty buildings are scannable.

The point I'm making is all of them are now RED. Fully scanned. No extra tickmarks to the questline available. When I beat Dreadwing I mananged to get an added tallymarks, but I STILL haven't had any of the other shops open yet, so I'm stuck at like 6/7 marks cus I did do a little bit of scanning prior to the mission starting.

2 Stop Teleshop opens after the Erchius Mining Facility mission. I found it by creating a new character in the same universe. You may be able to just repeat the mission from SAIL.

I just had this same problem. I did however resolve it without having to restart anything. What I did was I went to the 2-Stop Teleport shop and I scanned it over and over a few times quickly. After about the third or fourth successive click, the quest completed. I suggest you try this spam-clicking on the various locations to get past it.
