It's not really a hack though as you're not modifying any code, you are simply telling the sandbox to spawn those items for accessibility.
Item costs and crafting availability is exactly the same as at the outpost providing you do that last /admin command to turn off admin mode.
If you don't turn off admin mode then it becomes a cheat by making everything manufacturable at zero cost. I agree this takes the fun out of it. All that happens by spawning these things at your ship is a cutting of travel time to the devices (they can be reached simply by beaming to ship) no other effects occur on your game
Similar methods can be used for spawning the dungeon anvil and terraformer stations if you want to start changing planets. You still need to do the dungeons however so that you can harvest the appropriate materials; it's just easier to place the appropriate machinery in a space station or the large rooms of your ship
