Hi - I think I missed the explanation of how to use the gallery and I'm confused.

1. From the in-game main menu I can acccess the "gallery" which shows random replays. Otherwise, I don't know how to get to the gallery other than to create a bookmark in my browser. Is there a link in the game or on the PB Steam page?

2. When I access the gallery I can filter down to my submissions. But what is the right way to share my replay on here...

If I click on my replay I go to this URL: http://gallery.drycactus.com/?level=&replayType=&user=76561198239683024

If I right click on the replay and choose "copy link" I get this URL: http://gallery.drycactus.com/image/popup?id=9220

If I look at the URLs that other people are submitting, and edit in the 'id' value from above I get this URL: http://gallery.drycactus.com/image/view/9220

All three of the above URLs lead to a different display page for the same replay. Does it matter which one I submit? Is there a way to the "/view/image" URL directly (without manually inputting my id)?

Based on my questions, what else can you tell me about the gallery that will make it easier to use?

Hey VAB,
1. The in-game "Online Gallery" currently just shows a random replay, it's not very useful at the moment, but it's on the to-do list to implement a similar approach to the website.
The gallery you're using is still very new and in active development, so we're not "pushing" it yet until it's a bit more feature complete, but is still pretty useful for the competitions you guys are running.

2. The intended way to share is using the "i" button under the image, which will take you to the /image/view/{id} page that has the correct CSS styling and looks nicer, but functionality in the other two cases is also fine, just missing the styling.

So yea currently you need to visit http://gallery.drycactus.com and find your replay to then share the link over here.
You can also comment on your own item, which well then mark you as the "Author" as a way to prove to others that it's indeed your own replay.

We're looking at having:
1. Public profile short-urls, ex: gallery.drycactus.com/violets-are-blue so you can share that link and other players can see all your submitted replays
2. As requested, implementing save-files directly inside the replay sharing system, so from in-game (eventually) you can load up the bridge that you just watched the replay for
