I haven't looked into resizing the window dinamically, given it's a 3D rendered context the normal approach is to change the resolution settings.
I will look further into this but not sure it can easily be achieved, as the resolution of the game cannot be adjusted in real-time by dragging a window.
Since you said resizing the window won't make it into the game, what about a custom resolution for windowed mode? Any chance of that?
You can resize the window by setting the resolution of the game from Settings.
If I want to set the resolution, the next one that is lower is 1680x1050, which makes the window smaller than my desktop. So the perfect solution would be to use 1920x1057, but I can't find a way to set it up.
However I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve, if you want to cover the whole monitor with the game window why not go fullscreen? The next best as you said is to have a game window that is slightly smaller than the monitor, which is generally the reason why some people prefer windowed games.
Yes, I would like to use full windowed mode so I'd be able to use my second monitor at the same time. If I use fullscreen, clicking on the other screen minizes the game.
So far im using a resolution that is a bit smaller, im more than happy with the game and it's not even a big gripe, but it would be nice to use fullscreen window.
There is no option to use custom resolutions via editing some game files?
If the problem is the window bar at top taking up space you should be able to remove that by adding the launch parameter: -popupwindow
You will still lose a few pixels in a full-size window but should be more playable.
Thank you very much Dry Cactus for being helpful, and thank you for making such an awesome game! ;)
