Since we have no leaderboard, I'm curious to know what's your scores.

My highscore is 1.7M at the moment. Just happened.

Well! I've beaten my 1.7M a few times today, with a 2.5, 2.8, 3.0, 3.5 (three times), and a 5.2 :)

I've recorded the video, I'm currently encoding it, and I'll send to youtube when I'm done.

I will have to look at the end, cause I died pretty quick without seeing really how I died.

I instant died from some dark blue dots. I couldn't see them with the shots I was firing.

Video is the only unfalsifiable proof.

If you're an NVIDIA user, ShadowPlay is a fantastic feature to capture the last ~10 minutes of gameplay. Very useful if you don't like to record all the time.

Well, I've just broken the game.

I went for another shot at beating my highscore and the one from Derpy, and after 6M something the game difficulty hit the roof, and never became much harder at this point, while my power grew to godlike and beyond. There was no way I could have died without suiciding like I did at the end. I went straight into a star.

So my highscore is now a whopping 17M and I got a 52mins video to proove it. However, its not even full length since I ran out of diskspace because I didnt erased my other video before starting. But its already long enough as it is, so thank to this, you wont have to watch 1+ hr long video.

I used a different recording software this time, and it was much smoother during the recording. There was very little slowdown until the game engine literally became overwhelmed by everything. The sound was having major issues, and there was also huge slowdowns as my firing rate was crazy high along with ungodly amount of power.

I even stayed like 10 mins in the high collision zone, where the score went up quite a bit.

The bosses should loop and come back, in a more powerful version each time the lot is cycled. That would help make things tougher at higher levels.

I quite enjoy the fact that our power does not cap tho. :) Just need more hazards once we reach that level of power.

Its going to take a while for this video to reach online. Might be a day or two. Converting alone will take a few hours.

Well, it's just finished uploading. For some reason, I don't seem to be able to add it to my steam videos. The video might be too long at 52mins.

As you can see, when it starts around 4M, the gameplay is smooth and there is no major slowdowns. It breaks a little bit later, and become the worst in the high collision zone. At this point, sound is almost skipping/missing and have a lot of glitches.

Was still a crazy run :) I enjoyed that game!

so this game is just a loop thing rouge like, endless battle there is no real campaign with level etc???

I wouldn't call it rogue-like, it's more of a classic arcade feel. Except you don't use quarters. So yes, endless progression. It's a fun retro game.

Does anyone know if the difficulty setting has an effect on the score? If not, seems like the scores in the first thread need to have a difficulty rating next to them.

And I'm not quite sure what the flare pickups do. Absorb bullets? Damage enemies that get close? There's a bit much going on for me to distinguish the effect.

Earlier today I managed a 23.5M score run on normal mode! Eventually walked right into a star because I wasn't focusing :P

I started the recording of the run when I reached 17M as I figured if I was going to get a high score, I might as well have proof of it.

I learned how to beat the game: get super magnet and drones. the only reason I didn't beat 28 mil is due to bordom
