I think it's both. It's visual novel style, with lots of choices and endings. It starts a little slow, but it's definitely worth checking out if you like this style and the otome genre in general. :)

If it doesn't give any choices it's not really a VN. I think its called a kinetic novel then. It's not a kinetic nove..

Kinetic novels are a type of vn. As far as I know they're accepted on vndb.

Really? I don't really know if one is a subset of the other, or if they're considered separate things. I suppose the term "Visual Novel" is pretty broad though. After all, you could call a comic book, or a children's picture book a visual novel.

Unless a comic book or or children's picture book is put into a program and presented in an vn style then no.
