the game runs about ten times normal speed! :(
when i start the game, it's running so insanely fast that if i push the down direction on my dpad, it recognizes about 20 presses in that eighth of a second. if i load the game, it's also running about 10x faster than it's supposed to because if you look at the character, she's looping through her idle animation in a fraction of a second, if you look at the game clock, time is passing by 10x faster than it is in the real world and it's completely unplayable at that insane speed. ;P

my guess as to what's at fault is that i am playing on windows 8, but on a macbook pro. i've never had problems like this before with any other game i've ever played, but that'd be my guess as to why it's occurring, possibly.

any help with this would be appreciated as i looked forward to this game. thanks! (oh, and i heard some other folks were having problems that sounded slightly similar and it was fixed by turning on vsync in the nvidia control panel, but i did that and didn't see any difference, plus that doesn't make any sense for why it'd make a game run at 10x timescale anyways.. :) )

What FPS is the game running for you? (easiest way to see this is enabling FPS meter from steam settings)

You should enable v-sync, otherwise frame rates go through the roof and this game is made in such a way that it actually start to run way too fast, just like very old games and some other titles. V-sync isn't enabled for you. If you have enabled it, then it clearly isn't working and you should find another way of enabling it.

Actually, this game forces both vsync and 60 FPS cap, so in theory it shouldn't go over it in any scenario. However lowering FPS causes game to run slow motion, so that's why I though that maybe OP got it removed in some way.

With 60Hz monitors this games vsync actually adds massive input lag into the game, so externally forced triple buffered vsync or forcifully disabling vsync is almost essential in any scenario.

When I disable v-sync, the game runs way too fast on my system. Unplayable fast. I'm pretty sure that, for whatever reason, v-sync is not enabled for te OP, despite the game defaulting to having the option enabled.

If you wish to disable v-sync, better make sure to have another form of frame rate limit, otherwise the game will be unplayable.

I had the same problem.
Fixed it by changing monitor to 60hz (was on 144) and disabling G-Sync in Nvdia Control Panel.

I had some issues with this as well, with none of the things listed here helping me.

A friend of mine suggested http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/rtss-rivatuner-statistics-server-download.html

You will have to leave it on in the background when playing, but simply add the program and set the framerate to 60.

Hope it works!

Ahhh I was wondering why the game was sooo fast, I just played the first 5 levels at insane speed and damn it was hard. Now I know I can slow it down the games gunna be alot more enjoyable

Ive forced Vsync on in the Nvidial control panel but its made no difference. Is there a in game option to change it because I cant find it?

Thankyou
