Young Sapling - A Life Ends, Another Begins - What do i do?

I got a Sapling from some dying plant-based Aliens, and i am supposed to "find a suitable Environment for it"

i let Zoe Scan the damn thing for coordinates, but when i arrived at said coordinates, there was no way to interact with the sapling. And it seems to wither after more than one jump.

How do you complete the quest? I wasnt able to figure it out myself.

Are you sure that you on the right planet for the quest and not on another one?

the coordinates i get from scanning the sapling do not seem to be tied to the quest...it sens me to a planet with a biotope - but i can only find a plant there not do anything else :S

Well there is your answer ;) Maybe read your log.. , and look what the quest about.

I read the log, the plant you find in the biotope is unrelated to the quest.
The quest does not specify wether the new habitat is a ship, a planet or whatnot.
And i did not find a way to further interact with the sapling unlike any other quest.

Exactly.. so find a suitable planet , and land would i say, to plant the seed. Whats so hard to try that ?

Normally when you land on different planets one of them should be suitable and you will see a green landing spot on the surfacemap

thank you, i guess i'll just try a few different planets then.
So far it withered before i reached a suitable one it seems.

am stuck on the same mission, am guessing a green planet? unfortunaly for me and the sapling there isn't a single green planet in this nebular there is vine garden station which made the shape of a planet when I asked about the sapling, this nebular had one grey planet with a biotope but that didn't cause any thing to trigger with the sappling when I landed on it again...
