Hello Crickets!

We are thrilled to share that Blade & Soul NEO will be coming soon to Steam! Even before launch, this had been one of the top requests from players and we’re excited to make the game more accessible by bringing it to one of the most popular platforms out there.

Why are we doing this?

As we mentioned above, bringing NEO to Steam was a top Community request from day one. Many new and returning players prefer to use trusted and familiar platforms for their games and we want to accommodate this.

Are we still supporting PURPLE?

Absolutely. PURPLE will still be supported for all of our games.

Will PURPLE players be able to play with Steam users?

Because we are adding NEO to Steam after the initial launch of the game, we will create separate servers for Steam. This means, for now, Steam players will indeed be separate from PURPLE players.

Will there be separate NA and EU servers on Steam?

Yes. We will offer separate servers for NA and EU.

Will the PURPLE and Steam versions of the game be the same? How will Steam players progress and catch up?

We plan to align both versions of the game so that they are on the same progression schedule. During the Steam launch, we will have a progression event to help players catch up. In addition, we will monitor player progression throughout the update cycle, with the goal of keeping both PURPLE and Steam players on the same track.

Will the Steam version have any advantages?

In-game, there will be no differences. However, we will include basic Steam Achievements at launch and it’s possible we can take more advantage of Steam features in the future.

Will maintenance times be the same for PURPLE and Steam?

Yes, maintenance times will be the same for both platforms.

Will the countries supported by PURPLE also be supported by Steam?

We will continue to support the same countries in Steam as we do in PURPLE.

Play on North America Servers: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Australia, New Zealand

Play on Europe Servers: Czech Republic, Belgium, France, UK, Germany, Ireland, Sweden, Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Romania, Turkey

Will purchases also be made through Steam?

The Blade & Soul shop will continue to use Divine Gems as the main currency and players can purchase Divine Gems using their Steam Wallet.

Will B&S NEO be available on Steam Deck?

Currently we have not dedicated any special development towards Steam Deck.

Will server transfer from PURPLE to Steam be available if I prefer to play on Steam?

Due to the progression starting off differently on PURPLE and Steam servers, there will not be any server transfer at this time.

When is the Blade & Soul NEO release date on Steam?
