Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker

Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker

Looking to buy
Can you play snooker on a pool table in this game? I think they take 5 reds away irl sets. I played it once many moons ago and loved it and buy it like a shot if it was in this game.

Not currently possible to play snooker on a pool table, but you can play snooker with 10 or 6 reds, and also choose a smaller table. Sizes are 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 ft.

Colour of cloths and pocket leather are fully customisable too.

Thank you for replying. Do you have any plans to do snooker on a pool table? The actual gameplay is so addictive I'm sure other players will love it. Thanks for the info though sounds interesting.

It might be possible but I think this would be challenging to do. The active referee would need to be reconfigured to work with a pool table when it comes to re-spotting balls, since the balls fall inside the table, and not into nets like a snooker table.

Also, the smaller pool tables (6 and 7ft) would possibly be too small to use. Although there are 8, 9 and 10ft pool table options in the game.

We can make a note of the idea for future consideration, but it's not something that could be done quickly. I think there would be quite a lot of extra development involved.

OK fair enough. I remember a game a few years ago now did it and it worked really well. I can't for the life of me remember the name, still I can dream, lol.

Don't let that stop you. Buy it. This game has so many variations and options. Plus as you just noticed one of the most responsive devs in the business.

What exactly do you mean?
1) other cloth colour (blue?);
2) ball return system instead of net pockets;
3) angular pocket shape instead of rounded;
4) diamonds on table edges;
5) baulk line at 1/4 instead of 1/5 of table;
6) small table size (e.g. 6ft)
?

I assist dev, but sorry, I still don't understand why you want to play snooker on a pool table?

Do you mean a small table size = 6ft ?

Yes, a pool table. I have seen it irl and in a game a long time ago and it really is fun, probably not so much fun for pool players but for people that like Snooker it is good fun.

Why not just play snooker on the 8ft size table. it's just as fun.

I was thinking that and might just do that.

Great. I'm sure you'll get a lot of fun out of it and I understand why, the 12 ft tables are massive and have to be quite skilled to pot on those tables. I'm still rubbish at the game think my highest is maybe about 30-35 break. but I do it for the relaxation of the game.
