Hello, yes real players can play online together. If you have a friend with the game this is a good way to setup matches.

Another tip is to visit the multiplayer lobby and click the 'Receive alerts' button (it's on the bottom right of screen). You can then go off and practice or play an AI, and the game will tell you if you get an invite from another human player. An icon lights up in the control panel together with an audio notification.

Would be really nice if we could choose a multiplayer game and it automatically finds you a real person, opponent to play against. Like 8 ball pool by miniclip and to have ratings and coins to play for to rank up your level and unlocks. Thanks.
