is multiplayer only for friends?

Hi

Just curious if you can only play multiplayer against people you are friends with as I have never seen any other players online when I go into the lobby.

Hi there. Multiplayer is open to everybody, not just your friends. So if another player is active in the lobby then you should see them. From what we can tell the offline single-player game is quite popular, although we'd certainly like to encourage more people to try multiplayer as it is good fun. To save waiting around, it might help to enable 'Push Notifications' in the lobby (a tick will appear next to it). You can then go off and play against the computer or practice. Then when a new player appears, an icon will appear on the screen and an alert will sound, and you can hop back to the lobby and set up a game.
