Music also sort of works, it plays 1 track upon entering a match but then it goes into complete silence, not playing another track at all unless you quit a match and start a different one (just pausing to go back into main menu and back ingame doesn't help).
But still, despite this, I played a few Snooker matches for nostalgia in the Virtual Chat Room mode which also reminded me that it's one feature I'm really missing in CC2. I know that Bar Challenge sort of replaced it, but it doesn't have the atmosphere or the unique aspects of the Virtual Chat mode from CC1, so if you were to ever remake the game on CC2 engine, I'd hope you faithfully recreate it, rather than reducing it to meager Bar Challenge like in CC2.
Thank you for replying so fast by the way.
Nowadays I think they can create sort of that rooms in multiplayer mode.
Marcin - It's a nice idea, but unlikely that can add officially licensed venues and tables. It requires agreements with the relevant authorities and companies. Those conversations could maybe happen in the future, but nothing currently in place.
iGrasmat - Cue Club is quite an old game and sometimes it can struggle to work on modern PCs. We did have plans to remaster this title using the CC2 engine, although work has not yet started as we've been constantly busy producing updates to Cue Club 2. Will try and look into this again soon.
You're right Jonathan, maybe someday it will be possible , it long enough we are waiting for the function of counting judges' points on the match in voice form, when it will be implemented
Now I only hope I can also run the game in windowed mode, as the resolution of the game is very low. Using Alt + Enter or adding the -window parameter to a shortcut did not help, unfortunately.
move forward 6 years .... "Cue Club is quite an old game and sometimes it can struggle to work on modern PCs.
