Combo Attacks
I'd like to see these made easier to execute.

Right now A,X,Trigger combos in particular are very difficult to pull off, and more than half the time seem to result in an A,Trigger Combo.

X,A,Trigger combos are a bit difficult to, but not nearly as bad.

Is anyone else having the same issue?

I had no idea about the trigger button being part of the combos. I have just been pressing A, X and X, A, and A, A, etc.
So, how does this trigger part of the combo work? Does the game even explain this in a tutorial anywhere? I haven't seen one yet.

Also - what is hyper? Someone else mentioned it in another thread, but I have no idea what it is or does, or how you use it.

Thank you!

I can't seem to pull off the knock back trigger combo at all either...

The trigger combos are actually very poorly explained in the game. I assume what all of you as well as I thought when I first encountered them was that they wanted me to actually perform say the punch, punch then hit the trigger to perform the move. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. What they actually WANT you to do is to hit the buttons in quick succesion, ie. quickly double tap X regardless of your character's animation and hit RT.

Frankly the mechanic is a little bit messy because of this. It would be much cleaner and more intuitive if you were required to do the attacks that match the button presses then hit RT. But in any case, this is how the mechanic works at the moment.

Hyper is your super special attack that uses all 4 of your tension bars, you'll get it later into the game just by following the story and they end up explaining it fairly well; Press RB and press the buttons in the sequence presented to you.

X, A, Trigger works well for me when I just press the three together

A, X, Trigger on the other hand don´t work very well

Press it fast, but not to fast. If you press X A RT and they used just A RT then you are to fast.

played now, and i think i gotta better hit it two times in a row, going fast works

I think my issue has been hitting the buttons too fast - its a little bit easier now.

It would be useful if there was a training dummy, I know the offer a tutorial each time you unlock a skill but being able to go and practice until you get it right would be useful.

Yes! I wrote a separate post about this, and I really think it would be handy.

I want to thank you a thousand times. This post needs to be stickied. It's the only post on the interwebs that actually properly explains how to pull off a combo. All the other posts just say practice but how are you supposed to practice when you don't even know what it is you're supposed to be doing in the first place!

I actually like the way the combos are setup and I can pretty much pull them off on command. It feels like a fighting game. Having to pull off the combos by actually punching and kicking would be too cumbersome, slow and too easy to interrupt.
