Will Not Open

I've just bought the game, but it closes right after the loading page. Anyone with the same problem?

Yes, please. When I try to start the game, it says I need Java. Just download the latest version of that, but the game still won't work.

Alright, here's what you do:

1. Right click the game
2. "Properties"
3. "Local Files"
4. "Browse Files"
5. Find the executable (.exe)

Wanted to try out this game so I downloaded the demo. Couldn't open it even in compatibility mode. That's too bad, it seemed cool!

I'm really really sorry about this - I tested Prompt on every computer I could get my hands on and made sure it worked. I'll get a fix working as soon as I can. Any more information you can provide about your issue would be greatly appreciated!

mine still doesnt pass the loading. It loads all of the little blocks, then it shuts down.

Wow, I have never seen a developer that commited to helping people play his game. Hope you can get a fix in soon!

I'm running into the same issue.

I launched directly from cmd prompt to see if you were dequing any errors/messages to stdout but nothing. You might want to throw some logging in there to help track down the problem.

What language is this written in? It might just be that you need the right MSVCRT library if C++ or JRE version if java, etc.

But yeah, logging your boot procedure would help alot.

Errors are logged to the stderr.txt file in the game's steam folder to make it easier to read them without messing with a console.

The game runs in Java and should work with JRE 7 and up.
