Ok, finished the game
Ok, game is finished, impressions.

Best part is temple, worst part is caves. Mines are short. Boss fight is very well done, i like boss over-several-tiles lunge attack.

Bestiary, i didnt manage to unlock most of bestiary. First enemy who is in bestiary i got 6 of them, i need 13. It is weakest enemy, basic skeleton. On the other hands, spiders were plenty.
Also, spiders are different, one of them use usual poison attack, another leaves poison cloud and have much more hp but they count as same mob.

Magic: it really doesnt matter much which element you choose, as long as it is not poison. I prefer fire, since cold/earth/light-electro procs rare and do less damage.

Weapons are not balanced for mage, you better use Enchant weapon 1 and use dagger. On harder difficulty (not hardest) you will barely get mana to kill 1 mob. Then you need use potion or "dance" and use Mana-2-Life spell and then Heal.

For warrior i think daggers > slower weapons. Also dagger is +30% dmg, other weapons is +15% dmg.

About "dancing", game is balanced for dancing, you wont kill first mobs without it. Worst parts in game is tight rooms with 3-4 mobs where you cant much dance.


To end game you will have around 20 lvl, this means 16 points only for skill tree. For first game you see like 50% of spells and 50% of items.

About stats, focus heavily either in Str for warrior/ranger or Int for mage. You need some endurance also, character can wear only few items without investing in endurance. Skip Con, you get hit 2 times, you die, you are supposed to dance anyway.

Overall: 4/5 stars, game is strictly for fans of blobbers and dungeon crawlers. If you are not this type, you probably wont like game. But if you do - it will be fun for you.

Thanks for the feedback. There are a lot of comments, we'll take the time to think about some of them and see if we need some adjustments.

If you had to modify/tweak one thing from your experience, what would it be?
For the spells, if you used other spells, did you get a lot of secondary effects (freeze, stun, root) or most of the time nothing happened?

Also, if you gave 4/5 stars, we assume you liked it (correct?).

One thing to change, i think all is Ok, in general. Maybe add slow mana regen.

About spells: secondary effects are there, but % of effect is low and damage is lower than Fire spells. Also, poison is resisted/immune to most mobs, why use poison?

True, we will take a look and balance it better. We will remove the immunity/resistance for the poison on some of the creature.

no i didnt i checked everywall to the level as well now also feel like the key glitch happened for me

so i replayed the game from the beggining and the key glitch did happen. if u double click on locks the key disappears and door doesnt open. The game is basically opening and closing the door
