Destroying dark stone necessary?

Is it necessary to find and destroy the dark stones in order to complete the game? I mean they are feeding me experience points when the monsters respawn.

Not having finished the game, I can't say it is necessary, however as you level up the monters in earlier dungeons eventually give 0 EXP. Plus some of the dark stones hide loot. Either in front of a hidden switch or blocking paths. If you want to grind EXP, it is best to do it in the most recent dungeon anyway.

Hello! if you destroy a darkstone, the ennemies don't never repop in this area. If you found and destroy all the darkstones in the game, you release an achievement.
