Interesting how S2 Games' Strife launched with similar numbers

I'm just noodling the worth factor of actually jumping in sooner than later, with this Development Team.

Well, considering this game is from a niche-genre and not a MOBA like Strife, I think it's doing decently well.

I see you here, so I understand your support.

I will say more-so that I'm wondering if the complete lack of traction is directly correlated to S2 Games' inability to or blatent disregard for their player-base as anything more than another revenue stream. . .for one guy; Marc "Maliken" DeForest.

But at the end of the day, what matters is that if the 300 players that are left in 2 months, concurrently and actively playing are satisfied, I suppose.

Vibe I got from talking with the devs was that they were trying to make/do it right this time around.

But yeah, only time will tell if that holds true.

I think they learned a lot from Heroes of Newearth and Strife. Generally, people are far too quick to shoot down developers as scam artists or something, which begs the question why the heck they would go into the game dev industry in the first place.

The easy money is not made here, everyone in the dev industry would earn double to tripple in other industries.

So, only time will tell. I just hope for the best, because I have been in love ever since 2003 with the series (although rarely playing).

$$$ doesn't care about niche genres.
