How to catch pike?

Is there a way to catch pike as often as u do for carp I throw out dead but but very rarely get a bite the only venue I have for them is pine tree lake

No, there are not many pike in the lakes so it takes longer to catch them normally.

alright any tips on big carp like a way to filter small ones

Big carp prefer to feed near natural food sources.

dead bait/dead bait rig ,i catch em near the reeds usually

Hopefully Derp will add 40lb+ pike at some point, think they only goto 30 odd atm.
