Where's METAL SLUG 2 ?

Ok i understand the AES Metal Slug 2 had slow downs so SNK created X, but Metal Slug 2 was still GOOD!! It was a lot more enjoyable and better looking than Metal slug X. Please add METAL SLUG 5 and 2 !!.. Those were awesome games and for some reason always skipped.

I don't understand either why 2 isn't included as an alternate mode for X.

Technically X is 2.

Metal Slug 2 wasn't as polished and bug free as SNK thought it was when they released it. SNK ended up releasing Metal Slug X, fixing the faults of the game, and in improving the game in general.

Think of X as the Street Fighter 2 Turbo of Metal Slug 2.

X doesn't just improve things though, but also both adds and changes things which makes it a noticably different experience.

Well, chances are, if possible, since the MS titles from 1 through 3 are all DotEmu ports, and they have been on mobile, so who knows, same might happen to MS2 if it does come out.

Yeah, I know there's MSX, but hey, you never know.

IMO, Metal Slug 3 just wasn't on point. The enemies were too outlandish and not fun to fight, the on-foot sections were incredibly tedious and not fun at all. MS3 had the best vehicle sections in the series, but the rest was just garbage. Metal Slug X really feels like some annoying extra mode that could be played upon completion of Metal Slug 2. Metal Slug 2 is the real deal.
