All you do is just shoot, jump, and blow away the opposition. The game is simple though.
And it seems that you never watched any speedruns if you think that it's impossible to get exceptionally good at these games.
Some parts are a little cryptic to figure it out on how to pass through without dying, but once you find out, it's relatively easy. There are almost non-existant pixel-perfect or ninja-reflex moments. As you play this game you'll find out that it's actually very predictable.
