Beautiful 2D run 'n' gun action action that doesn't take much longer than an hour to play through. There may be more bang for your buck in the following sequels of this game, and the occasional slowdowns don't make this a perfect port, but this is still the classic formula of the series at its base state with plenty of high octane action all around for anyone to jump into. Wait to get this on sale, and then grab a pal to shoot some soldiers and tanks with for a more memorable experience and ending too. Peace forever!
