Tizoc/The Griffon (throw bug hurts his game, check the throw section )

AND

A Kevin, B. Jenet, Gato, Kain, Grant
B Dong Hwan, Jae Hoon
C Butt, Hokutomaru, Hotaru, Terry
D Tizoc, Rock, Freeman

They are pretty much what you will see yes. Kevin though is on a tier of his own, clearly above any other character in the game, and I'd say Marco/Butt is above Terry/Hotaru/Hoku.

Grant "may" be worse than Kevin, but I see him destroy tons and tons of Kevin in a lot of game a-cho tournaments.

Very honestly, I would say Grant is top tier unless you are extremely good at garô.

Overall, Grant/ Kevin/ Freeman/ Tizoc are the chars that aren't balanced. First two are a small bit too strong, and Freeman & Griffon are a bit weak (♥♥♥♥♥♥ antiair, pokes suck... low damage overall).

I'm just glad they're all tournament viable in practice, even with Tizoc having to deal with a glitch people can exploit to not grabbed in recovery animations.

All chars are tourney viable. Kevin takes some dexterity while Grant is easier on the hands. Also its not like you will run into these crazy players who absolutely know their chars online.

Well i must say that following players are extremly good:

Execution Zombie: He is one of few who can do perfectly hoku feints!

Tas_piloto SNK: one of the best on steam

Aerendir: Extremly solid player!

AddrollbacktoKOF: One of the best on steam as well.

Bonjooouuur: One of the best on steam.

I jump through smoke: Very solid player!

Deep respect to above players!

They are, they're just balanced under player control, though their damage output is less than their CPU version counterparts, even if TOP kicks in.

So... like the Champion Edition versions of the 4 Shadaloo bosses in SF? That's good to know because I had troubles with Grant (Kain, not that much despite him being a SNK game's final boss).

Rigby also very strong, his strings and feint cancels with Terry seem like they never end!
